About Royse City Roofing Pros
A Rockwall County roofing crew that writes everything down and photographs everything it finds.
We built this company around fixing exactly those three things.
- Insured crews
- Itemized written estimates
- Written workmanship warranty
How We Ended Up Working This Way
Royse City Roofing Pros came out of a frustration that anyone who has hired a roofer in North Texas will recognize. Homeowners were being handed a single number on the back of a card, told the roof was finished, and asked to sign before the salesman left the driveway. Nobody could explain what the number covered. Nobody would put the labor warranty in writing. And nobody could show a photograph of the damage they were describing. We built this company around fixing exactly those three things. The area around Royse City made that decision easy. This stretch of I-30 has grown fast, which means a lot of roofs of similar age reaching the end of their service life at roughly the same time, and it sits in a part of the country that takes serious hail. Both of those attract contractors who arrive after a storm and are gone before the next one. Our crew lives here. We work Rockwall County and the Collin and Hunt County towns around it year-round, which means the warranty we write is attached to a company you can still find in two years. What that looks like day to day is unglamorous. Someone climbs up and actually looks at your roof. Everything found gets photographed and sent to you. The estimate comes back itemized down to drip edge and pipe boots. And if the honest answer is that your roof needs a valley rebuilt rather than replaced, that is the estimate you get, even though the other one would have been worth a great deal more to us.
See our servicesWhat We Are Trying to Do Here
Our aim is straightforward: make it possible for a homeowner in Royse City to make a roofing decision with real information in front of them. That means photographs instead of assertions, line items instead of lump sums, a labor warranty you can read in full before you sign, and a plain answer when the answer is that you do not need what you thought you needed.
What we are trying to do.
We would rather do fewer jobs correctly and be recommended over the fence than run a volume operation on storm-season momentum. That is a slower way to build a roofing company. It is also the only version of it we are interested in running.
What we carry.
We carry general liability and workers' compensation insurance, and certificates are available on request before any work starts. Every installation follows the shingle or panel manufacturer's published specification, which is what keeps your material warranty enforceable, and our own workmanship warranty is issued as a separate written document.
What we will not claim.
We do not display manufacturer certification tiers, trade association logos or accreditation marks on this site. Those credentials are held by a company and verified against it, and we would rather show you nothing than show you a badge we cannot substantiate. What we will put in front of you: proof of insurance, the manufacturer's installation specification we are working to, our written workmanship warranty, and photographs of every single thing we find on your roof.
Six Things We Do Differently
What that looks like day to day is unglamorous.
- 01
Everything is itemized.
Tear-off, disposal, decking, underlayment, drip edge, valley metal, pipe boots, ventilation, shingles and labor each carry their own line and their own price. You can put our page next to any other bid and see precisely where they differ.
- 02
Everything is photographed.
Before, during and after. Soft decking, a split boot, a failed flashing detail — you see the photo, not a description. If a finding changes the scope mid-job, you see the photo and the new line before we proceed.
- 03
We quote repairs as repairs.
If your roof can be repaired, we quote the repair. That costs us the larger job and earns us the call when the roof genuinely is finished, which around here is usually a few years later.
- 04
Our crews are local to Rockwall County.
Not a convoy that follows hail across state lines. We are working Royse City, Fate, Rockwall and Greenville in January as well as in May, which is what makes a workmanship warranty mean anything.
- 05
The labor warranty is its own document.
The shingle manufacturer warrants the material. We warrant the installation, in writing, with the term and the coverage stated. You read both documents before you commit to anything.
- 06
We stay on the right side of Texas law on claims.
Texas does not license roofing contractors at the state level, so nobody here can honestly claim to be state licensed. Texas also bars contractors from acting as public adjusters and makes waiving a homeowner's deductible a criminal offense. We document damage and build the estimate you submit; we do not negotiate your claim and we do not touch your deductible.
